The Role
I loved my placement with Enterprise, I have been supported since I started and find even though I work long hours the days still fly by. I have learnt a lot and feel like I could keep learning every day if I continued on with Enterprise, there are a lot of areas of the business to get involved with and you get responsibility in all.
I have worked with a great team and feel very valued. We work together and support one another always.
I have had a mix of managers due to circumstances when I started however since my new manager started last week I gave felt very supported and have received some great feedback at my 30 day review.
At Enterprise we are extremely busy at all times, its long days however staying busy ensures it passes quickly. I have really enjoyed staying busy and always having something to do.
Throughout the placement I was given a lot of responsibility, as any management trainee at Enterprise I was expected to be in charge of certain tasks and make sure I do everything to the best of my ability, However I always had support if needed.
I feel everything I have learnt will help in the future
The Company
The atmosphere is fun in the office, always having good conversation with customers and fun between the employees, it can be serious when things need to be discussed but this is always done in the right way.
It was very well organised, I got training and got my stage one test set up to take before I left ready for if I wanted to return. I got invited to all events and got the same amount of responsibility as always else despite how long I was staying
They are very good at investing in training and development, I got two training sessions whilst at Enterprise and got invited to events such as ladies day, and had meetings with both my area manager and general manager
Company Parties/Events
Very appealing, I have been made aware of an opportunity at my university to be an ambassador for enterprise which I will be going ahead with, which also helps me keep a foot in the door at Enterprise for the future. I intend to return as it is a very good company to work with and I have had a good experience.
The Culture
Yes, we had area nights out, and were always seeing each other between branches and at training/drinks etc
The area is pretty standard, however I lived outside of where I worked therefore I am not sure about the area
The nightlife in the area I worked was pretty quiet however I lived in a different area so would rarely go out in the area I worked anyway. If we were to go out as a branch it would be in the nearest big city so its good for everyone.
Yes, Enterprise offer the opportunity to get involved in charity events, social events and the opportunity to set up your own events if you want to
