The Role
Really enjoyed it, exposure to different work streams with the investment bank
Got on really well with the analysts and associates, some of the more senior staff could be distant but on the whole formed good relationships with the majority of people that I worked with
Limited by management, however great support and guidance given by analysts/associates that I worked with
Very busy
During the placement I was given my own pitch book to create, while receiving guidance, I drove the project including building my own business model unaided
The Company
Subsidised Canteen
Subsidised/Company Gym
Company Parties/Events
Have to wait 2 weeks post internship completion to find out whether you've received a graduate job offer or not. Majority of banks tell you on the last day of the internship. However I believe HSBC normally offer a high % of interns a graduate job
