  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • I have thoroughly enjoyed my time with Enterprise! They offer a role that includes huge variety and you gain high responsibility from the outset. The ability to gain valuable and transferable skills such as sales, customer service, accounting etc is an opportunity not to be missed.

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • I was considered a very valuable member of the team and was trusting with all tasks. My managers have been of very high praise are sad to see me leave and have offered me the opportunity to return once I have finished my studies at university.

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • I was given great support from my managers and colleagues. Everyone has been through the same process at Enterprise and therefore are willing to help, due to this support I was able to get my stage one training folder signed off within my internship. The best way to learn is to ask as many questions as possible.

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • I was very busy with my role at the branch. I was given the responsibility to handle all different aspects of the business and therefore was kept busy all day long. There is always something new to learn at Enterprise so you never have a moment doing nothing which makes it a fun experience where time flies by.

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • I was given much more responsibility then I thought I would be when starting the application process. Within a few weeks I was talking to very well known company's on a professional level. I also had the chance to provide feedback to managers on how I think the business could be improved, showing the level of responsibility and how valued my opinion was as an intern.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • The skills I received are invaluable. My confidence has grown to a level where I am now comfortable to deal with difficult situations in a professional manner. My communication skills have developed and now allow me to lead a team in order to get a task completed efficiently.

  • A very positive one where laughter is a key aspect of the office.

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • Extremely well organized throughout the whole process. The structure of the application process and training was thorough. There was constant support for the entire internship.

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • They invested in me 100%. Paying for hotels, food, transport and more. The importance emphasised on my development was brilliant and I really appreciated the time and effort spent to make me a better employee.

  • 11. How appealing are future employment prospects within the organisation?
  • They are very appealing, I am strongly considering returning after I graduate. I am going to take on a role within the company throughout my last 2 years at university.

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • The social aspect of the job was very good. Staff meals and night's out are a regular occurrence and the relationship you build with your colleagues is what makes the job fun.

  • There was very little cost involved with branches being very close to home.

  • The nightlife is good within the city centre.

  • 15. Were there many opportunities to get involved in activities outside of work?
  • The opportunities outside of work were good however there could of been organised sports team competitions.
