The Role
Really enjoyed! Great team, loads of variety in the role and so many areas for progression. Over 12 weeks there is so much time to learn and develop and the time flies by.
I was always treated as a valued member of the team and was very lucky to have so much responsibility within the branch from the beginning.
My area manager was amazing as was my branch manager. They were constantly looking out for my best interests and making sure I was happy within the role.
On a regular day we were really busy, constantly having customers in the branch. When we weren't with customers there were so many different other jobs that we had to do. Corporate accounts, safety assessments, lots of other work to do
I was given loads of responsibility as at my branch there were only two other members of staff so I had to learnt to do much more quickly. I was made Branch Corporate Account Manager after expressing that I wanted to take as much as possible away from the internship and was coached through the role.
The key thing I will take away is that you can do a lot more in a day than you think. If you have the right team and you are driven the difference you can make is incredible. It makes you more flexible with all the different roles and responsibilty
The Company
Great! When people are happy to be at work because they can see the end goal of progression it makes a real difference.
Very well for the head office side, we had training beforehand so we understood what we would be doing a bit better.
They invest in you more than you expect and more than I have experienced at any other company.
Very! So many opportunities!
