The Role
I enjoyed working here a lot and it was a lot better than I expected, the people were really friendly and the job was really enjoyable.
I did feel valued but I felt like because I was on a 3 month intern that they valued other staff more as they knew I was leaving so gave me the tasks they didn't want to do
I was given support if I asked for it but never really guided me to do stuff without me asking
Quite busy. Even when there were no customers for a while and I thought I would be bored, I was surprised how much work I had to do to fill those gaps
Not very much. I got IRES captaincy which I enjoyed but because I was "new" and leaving I don't think they wanted to give me too much responsibility as they would be left with the consequences
Learnt a lot of communication and teamwork skills. Also learnt a lot more about work ethic and long hours, etc. which I needed to do
The Company
Quite positive. Had quite a bit of fun but could be quite boring when I was alone in office or only 2 staff due to low staffing in my branch and everyone being out in the road. Got quite stressful when busy
Very well organized. It was well designed and organized for the 3 months. Only issue was their was a bit of confusion over how many days holiday you get and what date we actually finish due to 3 months being different to 12 weeks
They invested a lot in us to make sure we were well trained and never cut costs which was good
Flexi Time
Financial Bonus
Company Parties/Events
Very appealing. It is a very good company to work for
The Culture
Not really so much in my branch due to family commitments and different age groups so did not really hang out out of work
It is Cambridge so a very expensive city, I lived at home still
Good nightlife
Not really
