The Role
I really enjoyed the internship because people are very supportive and willing to share responsibilities
As an intern, my contribution was valued because the analysts/associates actually put my slides in several pitches, which was quite rewarding experience
My manager was extreme helpful in terms of introducing me to new people and assigning me the tasks that match my interest
My working hours were ok. On the financing side of my team, people left quite early around 7 or 8 pm and M&A side around 12am
I was given responsibilities of developing pitches in terms of developing equity stories, which I consider is very interesting
I was surprised that the training last for two weeks considering it was a 10-week internship, which shows HSBC's commitment in developing new joiners
The Company
People are quite busy but still quite supportive
The workload was just right, which makes me feel time really was gone very fast
As mentioned before, training was tremendous
The positions of graduate are quite competitiative
The Culture
Yes. Made a lot friends there
Affordable
Quite a lot networking event
Quite a lot
