The Role
It was a good year, very challenging and different on a day to day basis. Also got to put into practice knowledge I had gained from uni.
Enterprise is very team orientated, and each individual branch and area works like a huge family
I was assigned a mentor from the start of my placement, and had constant feedback from my branch and assistant manager. I also had development meetings with my area manager to go through my future career steps
Very busy with customers and delivery and collection of vehicles, but if you can manage your time well you have plenty of time to work on your development folders and other parts of the business
Lots of responsibility, very often had the opportunity to run the fleet and cover managers if needed
I've built up lots of confidence and people skills in this role, and have learnt more about the ins and outs of the business include finance, operations, risk, marketing, sales etc
The Company
Very good atmosphere, you spend a lot of time with you branch so it becomes like a family, and there is always something fun or exciting happening
Well organized with lots of training days, stage tests and development tools. There is a set programme to follow with room to move through the training and stage tests quickly or a bit slower. Within the year you also move branches, which is communicated from the start.
Enterprise promotes from within so you spend a lot of time in training and development sessions to make sure you are ready for management roles in the future
International Travel
Financial Bonus
Good Promotional prospects and a potential to earn a significant amount of money
The Culture
There are regular social events such as branch meals and area nights out, and Enterprise has a very young workforce so there is lots of socializing
Reasonable
