The Role
I really enjoyed the internship, and found it insightful in learning more about a big consultancy firm like Cushman and Wakefield. It was good to socialise with other interns and surveyors to start building up a network in the industry
I felt fairly valued by the team, however given repetitive admin based tasks made me feel I was undervalued by the team. As the internship progressed I felt increasingly valued as I was taking on different tasks for different members of the team
I was supported throughout the internship by my buddy and graduate of the team. However I feel I wasn't I wasn't supported as much by the rest of the team.
I was well occupied during my internship after the first week as I started to carry out tasks independently
I feel I was given some responsibility during my placement, but could have managed more.
I have developed some quality skills during my internship from networking with people from various backgrounds aswell as carrying out zoning analysis for retail properties on Excel
The Company
There seemed to be a hostile atmosphere in the department I was in, I feel this was because a few people were leaving the department. But outside of the department, the company atmosphere was very friendly and sociable which I liked
From the application process to handing back equipment the internship was organised perfectly
Subsidised Canteen
Company Parties/Events
I hope very much to work for or with Cushman and Wakefield as I liked the core values of the firm and feel they aligned with my own values
