The Role
The people I worked with were incredibly helpful and fun, and there were always social events throughout the year to meet people around the company.
Everybody treated each other with respect, and always listened to what I had to say and helped me improve any ideas we shared.
There were multiple catch-ups with my superiors to talk through any problems or improvements I have.
There were always tasks to work on, or help other teams.
I was given several research tasks and worked on items that would make it to the final product/website.
It was useful to learn how to apply basic Computer Science skills to the workplace, and then apply them back into my degree coursework.
The Company
There were always little breaks to socialise with people and social events throughout the year to meet people around the company.
There were multiple events throughout the year to learn about the company and meet other interns, and a couple of catch-ups to check in on my progress.
If I did not understand a certain problem, my team had no problem taking time to help me through it.
Company Parties/Events
Working from home
There were options to move around the company to work on different teams and projects very easily.
The Culture
There were multiple social events throughout the year and weekly drinks with teams.
London prices, so a bit expensive.
Shoreditch was about a 30 minute walk or 5 minute bus journey.
There were a few sport games and events.
