About You
It was fantastic; really well organised, enjoyable and informative
Everyone I met, from partners to HR to trainees were welcoming and inclusive. Always happy to chat, people at Links were delightful.
Loads: from HR, from my associate-supervisors, and from the people setting projects and delivering talks.
Not a particular connection to my degree (though analytical and textual skills practice were good), but in terms of future career skills, it was very useful.
The Company
Incredibly well, from talks to socials, it was great.
Excellent: we got on well as a group and were given plenty of opportunities for fun and socialising.
The scheme was lavish in terms of the time taken by a great number of people at the firm getting to know us. They put on loads of talks, and more informal events to develop our skills.
Great insight into the firm's culture and values. But the work was slightly limited due to issues of confidentiality, and our short working hours!
They were big on this, keen to show exactly what the firm is about. The shared values of all the people there were constantly demonstrated.
Very - it gave me a great insight into the work itself, as well as what it is like to work in a city law firm.
Everything Else
Yes loads constantly.
Fab! London Eye, Thames Rib etc etc - really great.
