The Role
Long days but they go quickly thanks to the pace and enjoyment of work.
A lot of independent work but overall a good team feel.
Management were happy to answer any questions if I had them and helped if I was struggling.
Pace of work varied day to day so there were slow days but generally I was very busy.
I was given work to complete independently after about 3/4 weeks of shadowing others.
Degree studies generally weren't needed on the placement but work completed on site really helps with the understanding of what I have learnt at university and how it is applied to a project. The training received from others was very clear and helpful for when I needed to work independently. It will be very helpful for future placements/work.
The Company
Large office but everyone was friendly.
There was always work to do.
Very good training from others around me.
Company Parties/Events
Employment training is very good and trusting.
The Culture
Two training days meeting with other students with a social at the end of both.
Expensive being next to waterloo in London and I commuted into work from Guildford.
Good.
Some but not many.
