The Role
I enjoyed my placement as I had great responsibilities and worked with good people
I felt very appreciated by my colleagues, they made me feel part of the team.
The supervision on my placement was very thorough, I always had some teach me the basics and I could go to them whenever I had problems.
The work balance was good, I was never too busy but I wasn't bored either.
One of my main aims in my placement was to get some real responsibility and I definitely got that. I was able to do work and have to deliver just as anyone else on the team which was great!
I definitely learnt a lot on my placement and they are skills that I will take with me in the next steps of my career.
The Company
The atmosphere in the office great, people interacted very well but also did their work. I never felt under pressure to be anyone but me.
The organisation was great, I knew where I was going to be from the start and even if there were changes and I was informed with enough notice.
The firm invests greatly in their people, the people are the main asset.
National Travel
Company Parties/Events
I was offered a job with them, which I accepted!
The Culture
The placement students got to know each other well, we socialised after work and keep in touch now that the placement is over.
The cost was fine/normal for the area, not any more than other cities.
The night-life was great, there were a lot places that you could go after work or on the weekend.
The firm gave opportunities to participate in activities after work and the teams also organised events for socialising and getting to know each other.
