The Role
Excellent company with good structure/values and opportunity to make a difference.
I felt valued throughout my placement and could see where my work made a difference.
Managers/colleagues were all very helpful and answered any queries I had and provided support when necessary.
I had daily/weekly tasks to complete as well as multiple projects. Occasionally if I was waiting for a project to be assessed my workload was reduced but this is to be expected with managers/colleagues being busy.
I was given plenty of responsibility and the work that I completed mattered.
I received all appropriate training in order to fulfil my role. I vastly increased my understanding of the working world and improved my interpersonal skills. I learned how to time manage effectively and developed skills that will help me in my studies and future employment.
The Company
Calm and relaxed. A good working environment.
I was given set projects and tasks from day one and an opportunity to make positive changes.
The company gave me all appropriate training and management to fulfil my job role effectively. I was given access to all areas of the plant as I saw fit to carry out my job and learn as much as I wanted.

The graduate scheme is very good and has a lot of perks. I would very interested to work for this company again or complete my master's thesis with them.
The Culture
There was an intern comitee than organised events and a sports facebook group that organised football and other sporting activities everry week. I participated in both when I was able.
The company is based in Chichester which is an expensive place to live compared to other parts of the UK. However, I was still able to socialise with other interns/colleagues on a regular basis.
As Chichester is a traditional English town in the countryside there wasn't that much in terms of nightlife. However there was a racecourse nearby which is a good day out as well as Goodwood racing and motorshow events. Portsmouth and Brighton are within travelling distance for clubbing and events are organised in the intern meetings.
There were multiple activities to take part in although not many within a short distance of the workplace. If you aew willing to travel however there are endless things to do nearby and Chichester is close to the coast.
