The Role
It was a fantastic experience from which I learnt a great deal
Everyone took the time to come and speak to me and make me feel valued
Had few counselling meetings but not as many as was supposed to
When I was on a client team, I was busy throughout but I started the scheme floating around the place looking for tasks to do and found myself wanting to be busier
At a couple of points I was given a lot of responsibility for someone in my intern position and this was a great feeling
I plan to have a career in the same department as my internship so the skills I've learnt will be vital
The Company
Professional but fun at the same time
Everyone knew their roles regarding looking after us and we even had a day shadowing a parner which was a brilliant experience
They made sure everything I didn't know was explained to me to ensure full understanding
Working from home
It's something I'd love to do
The Culture
We quite often went to the pub or a bar together after work
It was quite expensive in the local area but then that's to be expected as there are lots of workers nearby
There was plenty to do in the local area
There was a CSR day which was good fun and I could still do all my normal weekend activities
