The Role
Very useful, while being very enjoyable
The atmosphere was very welcoming and I was given 'real' work.
My line manager was very accessible and happy to answer any Qs i had
I was quite busy, and apart from a few deadlines, it was never 'too busy'
I was given work to complete myself, but I wasn't there long enough to have responsibility for bigger work packages
All work was very relevant to my degree and future work
The Company
Really friendly and fun with an active young engineers forum
Really well organised, pre, during and post placement
I was given 'free time' to develop/ read around/ talk to people - not there long enough to do 'training'
Subsidised Canteen
Sports and Social Club
Company Parties/Events
Good history of taking placement students as future graduates
The Culture
Yes, both amongst interns and graduates
Bristol/ Bath are fairly expensive
