The Role
I greatly enjoyed my internship, it confirmed to me that this was the career I wanted after graduating.
All colleagues were very welcoming and were happy to answer any questions I had.
Both my mentor and supervisor often took time out of their days to guide me through my work.
I was busy enough to fill my day but there was not pressure to stay late, it was expected that I would take a little longer to complete tasks as I was learning.
I was given real work for clients throughout my placement.
The skills I developed will help me enormously when I return to the company after graduating.
The Company
The office was very relaxed. It was open plan and no one had their own separate office, which created a very welcoming atmosphere.
The internship was very well organised. All UK interns went to a 2 day induction. We then returned to our offices where we did work but also has 2 projects we worked on throughout the 8 weeks.
The company invested a lot of time in training the interns, we had a large pack to reference and also a mentor we could go to with any questions.
Sports and Social Club
Company Parties/Events
At the end of the internship they offered me a graduate job.
The Culture
Yes, I went to the company football tournament and there were various social events throughout the 8 weeks. On a friday we would often go out for lunch together,
Glasgow is a very cheap city to live in.
Glasgow has very good nightlife.
Yes, there was weekly badminton, a table tennis night and a mario kart night.
