    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?

    • It was a real eye opener, very interesting

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?

    • It as only a training scheme so perhaps not the best question to ask so I will put average.

    • Yes, the teaching and guidance was fantastic.

    • Very busy but that felt right, it was never boring or dull but you war occupied the whole time.

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?

    • It was a leadership academy so in terms of actual responsibility very little, I won't give it zero though because they trusted us. They didn't have strict rules on nights out or whatever.

    • Excellent leadership skills, I use them every day.

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?

    • Everyone was intelligent, proactive and interesting.

    • From the moment I got the information pack I felt all the 'glamour' of a big corporate firm that knows how to do events.

    • Essentially the whole programme was training and development.

  • 11. How appealing are future employment prospects within the organisation?

    • I've got a summer internship with them and want to work for them the following year, I've not really looked back in terms of other companies since being on the placement.

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?

    • Yes, we all got on really well.

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?

    • We didn't pay for anything, even drinks and nice meals out they paid for

    • We didn't go out.

    • Again it was only a leadership academy so not a great question.
