The Role
Thoroughly enjoyed it. Met some amazing people, all of whom were so patient with explaining their daily roles to me and aspects of the job they most enjoyed.
I was given some morning tasks , which was extremely important for morning meetings. Felt very valued that they gave me this task and trusted me to do a good job.
Regular meetings were arranged to talk about our progress throughout the internship, which was extremely helpful.
This varied day to day and between departments. Credit had the approach to not set too much work for us to do because they were keen for us to network and shadow as many people as we could. Therefore it depended on how proactive we were as to how busy our days would be.
Again this varied between departments. I was given responsibilities to create the morning reports and to send out some emails, which was good. In terms of making trades, for obvious reasons we couldn't get too involved so weren't given any responsibilities here.
The skills I gained from the internship were extremely valuable to take into a job, so we at least knew how the floor worked and what was expected of us.
The Company
Great! Everyone was so welcoming and fun to be around. Obviously there were times when it got a little stressed and people couldn't talk as much, but on the whole it was such a lovely environment to be part of!
