The Role
Very enjoyable and challenging internship.
Colleagues were always willing to help and give advice, as well give praise on comments on most work handed in.
Daily business varied although this is the nature of the business.
As the internship progressed I took on more responsibility.
Training was thorough but will not assist me in my degree back at university.
The Company
The atmosphere was generally serious but you were always able to have a laugh with colleagues sat near you when the time was appropiate.
Very organised. I felt as if I was integrated into the team from a few weeks in and the programme was structured well overall.
They invested a week of training in us which was very handy for learning the basics of banking before we went on the desk.
Sports and Social Club
Subsidised/Company Gym
Financial Bonus
Company Parties/Events
Healthcare/Dental
The firm themselves has a great business model which is set up for the future and should do well given the state of current affairs at the moment.
The Culture
We often saw each other on a Friday after work for those that finished at a decent time.
I lived slightly further out so travel costs were a little higher, but there were free taxis home which helped massively.
The nightlife was fairly decent with a few clubs nearby
Weekends was the best time but during the week time was limited.
