  • Some admin type tasks to do, but mostly interesting and relevant

  • Across the two offices I visited everyone was very welcoming and friendly

  • Both my buddy and my supervisor were very supportive and concerned that I got the most out of the internship. Very approachable and helpful in giving advice for improvement

  • Not overly busy, but not too bad given the circumstances/time of year

  • A fair amount of independent work, both for other colleagues and for outside agencies

  • Good experience of working in a corporate environment. Developed useful skills especially interpersonally with clients and colleagues

  • Very friendly office, with talkative and welcoming colleagues

  • A bit of a slow start immediately after the induction, but for the rest of the internship I had a fair amount to do and opportunities for client visits and shadowing

  • Significant and residential induction in Birmingham and IT induction in Manchester

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • No other interns based in my office, but good induction and final socials

  • Roughly comparable to home, so not too bad

  • Commuted into work daily so no real opportunity to experience it, nightlife at induction venue very good
