The Role
Worked with a great team of people who always ensure understood what was going on
Although it’s hard for my manager and their colleagues to find work that suited my level, they always managed I find something to help me learn
When present, my supervisors always made sure I understood everything.
Some days were a little slow with me much to do
I was given responsibility over some big parts of the project but none so much that if I messed up, it would ruin everything
The work we did was quite lightly related to my course however I did recognize some things. In addition, I gained skills and insight of how the office environment, as well as a construction site, works.
The Company
There were joking moments as well as serious moments - well rounded
Some bits and pieces needed better organization such as provision of PPE but otherwise things went smoothly
Before starting a new task, I would be taught one on one by my manager
National Travel
Company Parties/Events
Possible chance to join graduate program as well as certainty in returning the next summer
The Culture
I was not in the country when the events took place
It’s London - everything is expensive. But as a student, I find some great deals I suppose
Again, it’s London, I’m a student, of course the nightlife is going to be awesome.
Only if I go out and look for them
