The Role
When had work, was very good. Was given a lot of ad hoc tasks, and also a couple of projects to work on which was enhoyable.
Everyone was very friendly, and supportive and whenever I had a question or asked for help, someone was there.
Depends. At start of placement, just had reporting to cover and so when I'd done that I didn't have much to do afterwards. As I progressed, I had a couple of projects to work on as well as reporting so was more busy with my time, and was given ad hoc tasks on most days.
A good amount, most of the work I did was very valuable for the company.
Excel skills developed hugely, as well as presentation/powerpoint
The Company
People were very friendly, sociable and was a relatively casual work environment.
Was fairly well structured. There would be some days where I didn't have work. however, due to the fact there was other placements/grads we had inductions, training days, team days etc. so was organised in this sense.
The Culture
Yes, football played every week (5 a side), and most of the grads would go to the pub after work on a Friday.
Lived at home.
Watford nightlife is okay, better to go into London.
There were a couple of team days out and a Grad day in London.
