The Role
The firm is a great place to work with lots of opportunities and responsibility even during an internship.
You can speak to anyone at anytime and everyone is more than happy to help with any problems.
Regular meetings and debriefs at the end of the day allowed me to ask detailed questions and get guidance or support if needed.
The majority of the time I had plenty to do, however for one week I was office based and didn't have a lot to do.
You do not just get more responsibility, you have to ask for it! I asked and was given a lot of responsibility that was client facing with employees from major firms.
I will definitely use these skills in my final year and beyond.
The Company
Everyone was really nice and the atmosphere was good the majority of the time - within or outwith the office.
Was well thought out and planned.
We had an induction where we worked on several skills and had events such as go-karting. It is clear that EY spent a lot of money during the internships.
Sports and Social Club
National Travel
Company Parties/Events
Got offered a job the next working day!
The Culture
We were out for dinner and lunch several times and there was also sports teams.
Can be expensive but not to a level where you can't live!
Lots of pubs and clubs
We done volunteering during our induction and there are events and clubs available outside the workplace.
