The Role
It kept me busy every day and I learnt a lot of new things
My seniors regularly gave me client based work and trusted what work I was doing
I had a buddy and a supervisor who regularly kept checks on my well being and even took me out for social events. They also offered me valuable career advise
I used to be busy all day and sometimes had to work after work hours as well
I was given both heavily client based work where I had to interact with clients as well as meaningful internal work and research.
I developed skills that went a long way towards personal application. I already improved my networking skills.
The Company
The office had a nice vibe with everything well spaced out and not dull. People regularly had a laugh and frequently met outside office hours
The internship was very well set however there were some times when everyone was busy leaving me to do stuff on my own.
The company made sure I was growing on a personal level and I definitely think EY is one of the best place to intern at in terms of self learning.
Subsidised/Company Gym
National Travel
Company Parties/Events
Working from home
I was given the impression that moving up the firm was an easy achievable process provided you worked hard. I was offered a graduate job.
The Culture
The company regularly organised sessions for everyone to come together eg partner breakfasts, bowling sessions, etc. Everyone kept in touch after the internship ended.
In terms of socialising the place was lively with loads of bars and restaurants. However, as it was central london everything was quite expensive
Again, there were loads of pubs and clubs around considering we were in central london but very expensive.
EY advertised loads of activities that there full time employs can undertake like sports, socials, etc however I didnt get enough time to participate.
