The Role
I enjoyed this placement year, my coworkers were very supportive and friendly! The work was varied and real life experience
All colleagues were supportive and friendly during the whole
Management were supportive and always able to give advice on my future career as well as my current placement
This was a real job that needed to be done working with a range of different departments kept me very busy
The more you prove you are capable the more responsibility was given,
The skills I developed furthest were all the necessary soft skills which are essential for my degree and career
The Company
There was a positive attitude in the office and within the teams, and there was quite a lot of banter.
Very well organised, they helped us initially move into houses, all key information was given at all times
I shadowed other departments and was put on a one day risk assessment course, there was definite investment in me

As Vauxhall do not offer graduate positions, they are less appealing however if asked back I would again work for this company
The Culture
Most of the Vauxhall undergraduates lives together, there was three houses on the same street all filled with us! We all got along very well, going out to social events often
Luton was fairly cheap, however it does not have the best reputation, we did not have any problems
Luton’s nightlife was limited but London and Watford nights out were organised too
There were plenty of opportunities if that’s what you like
