The Role
Very much, it was both challenging and fun.
I felt valued but know my skill set as an intern is not too important as far as real work. The experience was more about learning the ropes as you go along. I felt I improved throughout the 9 weeks.
Management was very busy but was helpful when I would ask.
It was cyclical. I was never bored because I would just study the training guides in my free time or work on my practice DCF/models.
The amount matched what is expected for an intern
The skills are very relevant to my major in Finance and have already been helpful in courses.
The Company
The atmosphere was pretty quiet. It was stressful at times but it never bothered me. It felt pretty relaxed even when people were clearly extremely busy or overwhelmed with work.
The internship was very well organized. I was able to learn much more than I expected and the HR team made it fun for as well through various events.
The firm invested a great deal and the training was much better than I was expecting.
Company Car
Subsidised/Company Gym
Company Parties/Events
The prospects are very attractive for a college graduate.
The Culture
Everyone was very friendly and inclusive.
London is very expensive but our salary was enough.
The nightlife in surrounding areas was better and easy to get to. It was nice to go nearby after work with colleagues though.
We had a team soccer game, drinks, and a scavenger hunt.
