  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • Staff were extremely welcoming and down to Earth. Had an amazing time and would recommend it to anyone.

  • Very approachable and easy going.

  • Support before, during and after the event was, and has been, fantastic.

  • Very busy schedule with lots to do. Fun activities so you don't feel like you're working with a good range of social activities in the evenings to relax.

  • In some activities we were split into groups and had to manage certain activities ourselves to achieve a goal.

  • Learnt more about myself during the Leadership Academy than I have through any other work experience or career event.

  • Everyone was enthusiastic and willing to participate in all activities.

  • Very well organised. Any questions / queries that I did have were answered prior to the event taking place.

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • A huge investment by Ernst & Young into the Leadership Academy which no other companies provide at the moment. It was completely about us and not about recruiting us to Ernst & Young. They completely wanted to make us stronger leaders and more rounded individuals.

  • 11. How appealing are future employment prospects within the organisation?
  • The Leadership Academy fast tracked me to the assessment centre for the summer internship scheme which I will be doing next summer.

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • Social activities every evening and team tasks during the day.

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • Ernst & Young provided the accommodation for the 4 nights and all meals were provided as well.

  • 14. What was the Nightlife like in the area you worked?
  • Evening social activities such as karaoke, drum workshop etc.

  • 15. Were there many opportunities to get involved in activities outside of work?
  • Hotel facilities were available (e.g. gym) though there wasn't much time for this as the day was quite full.
