  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?

    • Every day was different, lots of opportunities to develop personally and professionally

    • I was treated like every other member of staff, never felt like a placement student

    • Regular feedback and support whenever needed

    • Always busy up to something, however if the work ever became too much it was also possible to ask for others to help

    • Full responsibility, I was able to work with manager to meet my placement objectives such as leading projects etc

    • Feel really confident going back to university, it has made some of my final year modules easier to relate to by having real-life experience to refer to

    • Everyone was really friendly, in all departments! Always someone available to help you

    • The placement trainings and structure was well set-up, especially the on-boarding process.

    • Highly invested in personal training and development, there were several training days such as 'team building' and 'working in a professional environment'

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?

    • There were above 10 placement in my intake, all became great friends from placement and still in touch with each other now

    • Reasonable costs

    • Closest place is Canterbury for a busy student nightlight scene

    • Sports and social club offered great activities and there a lots of local things to do
