The Role
It was amazing! I learnt more than I ever expected and it provided me with a clear career focus.
My colleagues were very supportive and encouraged my development.
The support network was amazing. I had national and regional contacts that were always happy to help.
Non-stop! Every day was different and I was never without a task or training to complete. For me, it was just what I wanted.
I was given high levels of responsibility, from running shifts to controlling store orders from the distribution centre.
The placement provided me with both technical and soft skills that helped me during my degree.
The Company
Very supportive and friendly.
Very structured and training was continual and thorough.
The entire year was focused on continual growth, and I was given various opportunities to develop my skill set.
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
Above 25 days holiday
Very promising - if you work hard!
The Culture
Although we only met nationally a few times in the year, it was always great fun to catch up.
I lived at home and commuted.
I did not experience it.
