The Role
I really enjoyed my time at Sisk and it was a shame to come to the end of it.
At the start felt a bit of a spare part, but after the first couple of weeks felt like a part of the team and my contribution was then valued. Felt like I was part of the family.
A great amount of support given when needed and very personable staff.
At the start had very little responsibility and wasn't very busy, however this quickly increased until at points struggled to get everything done. At the end it was a shame to be having to turn down work and opportunities.
At the start had very little responsibility but this slowly increased as confidence in me grew.
Gave a good insight into the industry and what contracting is, whilst also giving me new insights and allowed me to learn new skills I am already using at University.
The Company
Really great atmosphere, really nice people and felt like a family.
Well organised, seemed to go very well, at the start they were a bit unsure of what they could do with me.
Did inquire into training that I could do during times when I wasn't busy however never got any response from these, even after emailing multiple times.
Really enjoyed my time during the internship and could imagine myself working there in the future.
The Culture
Everyone felt like a family, but not many social events between everyone outside of work.
Cost was very low as I was fortunate enough to be able to stay with a family friend. No socialising during this time though as was too tired after a hard days work.
Didn't get the chance to experience this.
Didn't have much time outside of work, mainly to being too tired after a hard days work.
