  • Due to circumstances, my oringal plan went down the bin. This meant that the amount of work available was not the level I expected and a lot of time was spent trying to find work than actually doing work

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • Really laid back and professional at the same time. Never felt out of place and everyone was helpful at all points, can say that the company culture is one of the best I have experienced

  • Some hiccoughs here and there but overall a good job was done organising everything

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • As it is only an internship, this section is limited. However, Cavendish did their best to incorporate me into their culture and I felt valued because of that. I Never felt like I was below anybody.

  • 11. How appealing are future employment prospects within the organisation?
  • I would very much like to come back and work there. The total work load may have let me down but the company culture, combined with their expertise in the industry makes them easily one of the best companies to work for and I would gladly come back in the future!

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • Lots of graduates who were my own age and very friendly, they arranged a weekly badminton and there were often nights out/cinema visits etc.

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • Manchester wasn't the cheapest but I've lived in worse. Night scene is great!

  • Very good! Manchester has everything
