About You
Really helpful and useful introduction to the Taylor Wessing firm.
Each employee at Taylor Wessing was eager to help us understand the firm and answer any questions we had, whether they were a trainee or partner.
A helpful presentation detailed application advice specifically tailored to Taylor Wessing and commercial law firms.
I developed my commercial awareness skills and received more information on applying for law firms, which will stand me in good stead post degree studies.
The Company
There was a great balance of social and informative activities, with a business game and presentations from partners at the firm, which were broken up with breaks to relax.
The firm was extremely friendly and I felt comfortable asking any questions to any member of the firm.
The firm gave valuable presentations on skills that we should aim to develop to be successful lawyers.
The firm emphasised their friendly, open door policy, and we got the chance to network with trainees over lunch where we could ask questions about what it was like to have a full time role at Taylor Wessing.
The Open Day demonstrated that Taylor Wessing has a relaxed and friendly, but still professional, culture.
The event made it clear to me that I would like to pursue a career a law, and plan to apply for a vacation scheme at Taylor Wessing next year.
Everything Else
There were plenty of opportunities to network and ask questions to employees of the firm
They were relaxed and engaging opportunities to ask questions about the various areas of commercial law.
I asked trainees about social activities.
Yes it was a great insight into Taylor Wessing and gave a flavour of a career in commercial law.
