About You
The insight was really useful and I really enjoyed my time there. It was good to get to explore the campus, and made me realise that i'd prefer to work for a large company than a small one. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. I also got to try out 5 different departments so that was really fun.
I didn't have a lot of responsibility since it was only a week work experience, so therefore I think its fair to say I was a valued member of the team. However, everyone was welcoming.
Lots of support, everyone genuinely wanted to help. I even managed to go back and spend a day at the studio since that was where my interests lie.
It helped me understand what kind of company I want to work for, and it was great to see different paths of Television that I didnt know existed.
The Company
It was extremely well structured, and every minute of the day was planned - which was good because you didn't feel in the way.
Really great, and i'd go back anyday.
Not a lot, since again it was only a week placement, and it was more about letting me see how things run. I felt like genuine work experience, rather than being exploited for free work - like other places i've been too/
It was a good environment to work in, and I liked the idea of hot seating.
a little, because of the time constraints - but it was good to get a feel for the place.
It helped open my eyes to more pre-production and admin roles in TV, that aren't just editorial.
Everything Else
travel paid.
I did manage to return for a day in the studios.
I didnt participate in any networking events.
No
Yes definitely.
