About You
Very enjoyable day. Well split up so as it wasn't just endless talking but still remained very informative
Everybody that we met was very polite and respectful and willing to talk to us about their roles which was great
Very detailed explanation of the areas and different streams, especially from [This section of the comment has been removed by a member of the RateMyPlacement Team because it did not meet our site terms and conditions], but one of the area within the company was poorly explained by the employee (didn't attend)
Very very useful interview tips and explanation of the recruitment stages both within the company and on a general basis
The Company
Very well structured, well split up so as not blocky and boring rather it was a little bit snappier and very interesting
Everyone was very happy and welcoming in the company and nobody seemed 'laboured' to talk to us
Well obviously it was only a single day (hence the lower score) however on this day I felt very valued by the company
It informed me about the different streams within the company very well so as I am more informed to make a decision as to which stream I may wish to peruse
[This section of the comment has been removed by a member of the RateMyPlacement Team because it did not meet our site terms and conditions] kindly arranged for an employee to take us round the office so we could see a more detailed idea on how the company worked
On helping me decide within BDO my career path it was very very helpful. However it didn't consider other businesses (obviously) this question i feel is a little vague for this application.
Everything Else
No offer to pay me for expenses or my time however it was a voluntary day and I was not expecting anything in return so it was not a problem at all
Yes, lunch with the employees and extensive questioning opportunities allowed us to network many times throughout the day
Very good, everyone was happy to talk and [This section of the comment has been removed by a member of the RateMyPlacement Team because it did not meet our site terms and conditions] helped to facilitate and spark conversation wherever needed
The employees did briefly say some other aspects of the job along this line however it was by no mean a focus at any point
Yes! You get a great feel for the company and for what you like/don't like so you can make a better informed decision on your next steps to progression
