The Role
I really enjoyed working there for my 12 months. We got given real responsibilities and there was also a very good social side with my colleges.
Everyone there is really nice from the day we walked into the door.
There was a lot of support to things that we did not understand. We got given training and there was continuous support from my line manager and my team.
At the beginning because I was just learning new systems, getting use to the working style and environment it wasn't that busy but after I got used to everything things picked up very quickly.
I was given my own projects to deal with and there was support from my manager if it was needed. So I was given a good amount of responsibility to be in charge of my own projects.
Working here definitely improved my future skills, it gave me more commitment and motivation to succeed, which is really helped me in university. Getting used to different systems also helped me and it also helped me to work independently for long periods of time.
The Company
It was a really good atmosphere, everyone got on with their work but was always up for a chat and it wasn't always too serious.
Very well organised, tasks were given with a deadline, I was given constant feedback on how well I was performing.
Invested a lot, there were always training opportunities and they recommended some training that would help my skills and we were given a choice to go for extra training sessions that we found interesting.
Subsidised Canteen
Company Parties/Events
Working from home
Healthcare from home
There were various different opportunities with very good prospects.
The Culture
There were other placement students with me and there was a very good social environment with other students and colleagues.
There was not a good nightlife in the local area, but there were other areas fairly close that had a very good nightlife scene.
