The Role
hugely beneficial experience
regular reviews and sit downs with supervisors
some weeks were arguably too busy to be able to sit down with colleagues but you cannot be bored during the internship if you go about it properly and find work and ask questions continuously.
as much as an intern could/should have been given. my tasks seemed to add real value which felt like being given responsibility.
training and advice will prove invaluable over my final year of studies and in my career in the future
The Company
Trading floors were busy and always buzzing. Never dull.
Organised many talks from senior managers, received regualr emails about where we should be'what we should be doing.
huge number of training days fo IT programs, presentation skills, understanding of the markets and asset classes. general advice was always reading avaliable from colleagues.
Subsidised/Company Gym
Got offered a job at the end of the internship which I have accepted.
The Culture
We socialised regularly throughout the internship.
London is very expensive.
London has a huge nightlife.
Touch Rugby tournament between summer interns was offered.
