The Role
Very enjoyable - learnt a lot about accountancy and had a good time socially with other interns and colleagues.
At some times they were understandably very busy but overall I always felt very valued.
I was always given clear guidance and encouraged to ask as many questions as needed. The support system of buddies/counsellors/intern leaders/ HR was comprehensive.
On the whole very busy, there were some days when I didn't have a lot to do but on these days there were always intern projects and learning exercises to complete.
A lot more than any work experience I had done before, the responsibility increased throughout the internship.
Aside from learning some basics of accountancy, I also learned a lot about the workplace, the industry, client meetings and broader business aims.
The Company
Hard working and sometimes very stressed but always friendly!
A few small glitches but overall it was seamless.
Always willing to spend time with you developing and evaluating your knowledge and skills.
National Travel
Looking forward to starting a career with them in the next few years.
The Culture
Very good intern social scene. Lots of drinks with colleagues also.
Relatively cheap!
Lots of bars/ clubs.
Sporting and charity opportunities mainly.
