The Role
A thoroughly challenging and enjoyable placement, which was well organised and structured. Opportunities arose to be involved in exciting projects with high profile clients.
After a week I felt that my colleagues entrusted with daily tasks and other responsibilities which I cherished being a placement student.
The HR team at Savills were very nice and approachable and ensured that I got the best out of my time there. They organised placement reviews, departmental talks and social events so I could get to know the firm well.
Being in quite a large department I always had something to do by asking around different people. If I wasn't doing something in the office I would be out and about on a viewing.
I personally undertook a viewing of a small office property. Highlight of my placement as it showed that I was capable of representing Savills.
A brilliant experience, and for myself it was a career game changer.
The Company
A bustling office of which people were constantly coming in and out of!
Highly organised as commented on before.
Time with surveyors of high regard was very valuable.
Company Parties/Events
I hope so!
The Culture
Yes, we went out for drinks after work on a few occasions.
Highly expensive.
Every night of the week the bars after work were crowded.
There were a few but the limited time at the firm didn't allow this really.
