The Role
A good experience in an international company. Learnt a lot of new skills, which is the purpose of an internship.
Some were better than others. However, I felt like I was valued in my team.
If I was unsure of anything I felt I could ask to clarify. Everything I did was explained to me, which made me understand the background and outcome of the task.
I always had something constructive to do, which I really appreciated. I am glad I didn't have to do meaningless tasks such as make the tea! I was busy but that was the nature of the team. I am glad I had things to do rather than nothing at all.
Compared to other internships the level of responsibility was lower. However, I understand that interns can not be given much responsibility due to the nature of their position.
Really valuable to undertake experience in Lease Consultancy, has given me a good foundation to build my learning in this area.
The Company
Compared with other internships, the atmosphere and 'banter' was to a minimum.
Very well set up I would not have expected anything else from such a prestigious company. I knew where I had to be and what date/time. My contract was sent efficiently along with other details.
I was really disappointed with Savills, another team wanted to keep me on after my internship with lease consultancy, however London did not allow them. I did not feel they attempted to assist in personal training or development, considering I have graduated and looking for a full time job. Peers have been offered jobs from the back of internships, I wasn't even put forward or sent an application form to apply to a graduate job in the office- which I found myself but after the deadline.

The Culture
None in the regional office. However I understand that social events were organised for London interns. Why were regions not included?
The North is cheaper than the South, so on a whole it was affordable on my budget.
Didn't have time to experience it.
