  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?

    • I went to the employability workshop and not knowing much about the day when I went I was surprised to have such a lovely day and felt so lucky that so many people at Deloitte came to talk to us and all the activities were fun but challenging which allowed us to interact with others in the group.

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued during your time at the company or firm?

    • So many people in lots of different areas of the firm came and talked and chatted with us, they each gave personal views on their parts of the business and were really engaging and talkative so it felt really welcoming.

  • 3. How much guidance/support did you receive during the insight?

    • We were told everything we needed to know about future programs and had so many opportunities to ask questions and were given lots of informative presentations.

  • 4. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and information you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?

    • I will now seriously consider finding out even more about the firm and look at it as a potential future career option.

  • 5. How well structured was the insight?

    • Different talks and presentations were broken up with activities and challenges so I was never board and always interested in what was happening.

  • 6. How was the general atmosphere during your insight?

    • Had a wonderful time, it was always welcoming and felt everyone there wanted to be there and was enjoying themselves.

  • 7. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?

    • It was more a day of learning and it was very enjoyable, the company put in a lot of time and effort.

  • 8. To what extent did the insight help you to understand what it would be like to have a full time role with the company or firm?

    • Totally we were told lots about the bright start program and how that could lead on to a job at the firm. Many senior partners also came and talked to us about what they do which was really insightful.

    • was so friendly and welcoming, everyone was smiling and the culture seamed so inclusive.

    • I thought I would go to university but the day has helped me to asses other options which seam really worthwhile.

  • 11. Were you paid or reimbursed adequately for this experience?

    • The firm were great and straight after the event offered to reimburse my travel.

  • 12. Were there opportunities for networking and meeting other employees of the company or firm?

    • Plenty, there were senior partners and new employees there for us to talk and network with who were all really helpful.

  • 13. How were the networking/ social event opportunities?

    • We had lots of time to talk/ chat with people in our group on our table but to make it even better it would have been great to mix the groups or do whole group activities.

    • Yes we were told of lots of social activities on offer.

    • yes I though the insight was great and will recommend to any others that could be interested.
