About You
I made some great new friends that I hope to keep in contact with in the future. The coordinators were really friendly and they were always on hand to answer any questions we had. Overall, I learnt a great deal, and in addition, the hilton provided great hospitality. I had an enjoyable time here.
I felt greatly valued at my time at the company. Everyone was approachable and all the people at Barclays I talked to gave me great advice and an insight to the company.
I received great advice and guidance and support from the people at barclays. It made me more aware of my future career interests and I can now narrow down my career paths.
The presentation skills I gained will br valuable. However, I feel that the tech skills will not neccesarily be useful for my degree in Mathematics and Statistics at the Uni of Glasgow.
The Company
Everything was well timed and very well organised. However, I feel like too many talks instead practical sessions.
During the tasks the banter was top notch. Sometimes during the talks, everyone tended to tire but overall the atmosphere was fun.
Yes, indeed, it is true that Barclays Group invested heavily in my skill set.
I know now that my career my be in another sector, maybe more financial. This insight week was good for my awareness
Yes, the culture is pretty laidback.
I know now that I want to be in a more financial role
Everything Else
I was paid, however they did not pay for my parking on the first day (£20.50).
Yeah there was a network evening.
They alright.
Yeah there are many schemes outaide the workplace.
Yes espeically if they have a tech background.
