The insight was extremely helpful in making me understand how Barlcays works as a company, what areas they are focusing on developing right now and in the future and, most importantly, how to apply their values in everyday life. I have learned a lot and I would recommend this programme to anybody.

I felt very much as an important part of the whole group, as we did have a lot of team workshops, projects and discussions where your word alone can make a difference. I felt that Barclays has given enough attention to the students in general, that they were very welcoming and warm.

We received guidance multiple times every day, not even once have I felt lost or not listened to. Barclays managed to pay attention to each and every single one of us in the week and make us feel like home. We received details after every talk session or break which was really useful.

I believe that the skills and information I gained in the Technology Programme at Barclays will be immensely helpful in my future career and in both my academic and working life. I have gained a lot of knowledge on how Barclays functions, first and foremost, whilst also learning about the technology industry.

Everything was perfectly structured, we had a schedule set before we have even arrived at the Programme. Nothing felt rushed or unplanned in any way. The speakers and organizers knew of this schedule and followed it thoroughly, all whilst ensuring that we have the best time possible during the Programme week.

The atmosphere was extremely friendly and welcoming, the organizers were constantly smiling and making us feel part of the family. The speakers were amazing and really managed to make us feel like home. The places we have visited as part of our schedule were really nice and I have learned a lot there.

Barclays has invested a lot in making us grow as individuals, students, and future employees. They have designated a lot of time and effort in making us have the most amazing time possible, whilst also learning as much as possible about them as a company, about the industry in general and also about the work life in general.

Barclays made us understand very clearly how a full time role in the company would feel like, by taking us to different places where we could see people working in the company as of that moment and also through the great speakers that came to tell us their journeys and backgrounds.

I did understand much more about the culture of the company and their values mainly through the speakers. That is because they very sincerely shared their stories and backgrounds with us, making us understand at the same time how it would feel to work at Barclays as part of a team in developing new technologies.

The content really made me understand the path that I want to take in my future career. Barclays managed to expose very well the ins and outs of a technology role and how we would fit in a full time role in this domain. The information provided was very relevant and helpful.

Our travel costs were reimbursed fully and we have also received a 250 allowance to help us during the week. This very much helpul for students that had to travel from all over the country and even from other countries to get to Glasgow in order to take part in the Technology Programme.

There sure were a lot of events specially created for networking with both the organizers and the employees of the company. These events were really helpful in getting lots of information about the culture of Barclays in a very sincere and slightly less formal fashion, which was very much appreciated by everyone.

The networking events were very nicely organized and were really hepful in making us decide whether or not we would be fit in such an environment, based on the very large amounts of information given to us by the people that we met at the event, who were also full time employees of Barclays.

We did find out about the general life of Barclays employees, both at while they are at work and when they are in their free time. They were great in explaining how to balance our work and free time in order to be fulfilled individuals in general and also as Barlcays employees.

I would strongly recommend this Technology Programme to any of my friends, as it is a great opportunity to learn, grow and gain a lot of invaluable knowledge whilst also knowing your are supported and that your opinin matters very much. It is an unimaginably amazing experience that would be very difficult to equal, in my opinion.
