About You
I thought it was a well thought through concept, with very interesting people from different backgrounds. It definitely gave me a first insight into the world of Technology at a major bank.
I felt valued because they really put an emphasis e.g. in the workshadowing to provide people with interesting insights that matched their skills set. Also everyone was very friendly and took a genuine interest into the Spring Weekers as a person.
With the application put in place, the coordinators were at all times responsive and helpful, in case you encountered any difficulties.
I feel like many aspects made me become more aware of the person I am, where I want to go to in the future and what kind of company I would like to work for. This is therefore also going to be refelected in my studies and the decision of which modules I am going to take in the future.
The Company
It was very well structured, with an agenda put into place and this was very well followed.
It was a very positive environment, with a lot of encouragement and open communication.
In terms of investment, I believe the company did their best job to provide us with valuable information and training, even though it was in a very short time frame.
It helped me very much, as we had different events and the possibility to ask questions at all times, which gave me a clear picture of Barclays as a workplace.
Very much so. By asking specific questions concerning the company culture, but also just being in conversation with the employees, I could get a good insight.
Quite helpful, as I could make my first decision and collect my thoughts on whether a career in banking would be for me.
Everything Else
There were everyday opportunities.
Mostly very good, I especially appreciated the one-on-one conversations.
Yes, everyone provided informations on this topic and their engagements outside of work.
Most certainly. It was a great experience and I am leaving with a lot of new and positive impressions.
