About You
The insight was amazing, each of the days were full of tasks for us to do which was not expected. Barclays get you involved from the start regardless of where you are in your career.
All the staff members were keen to support the insight candidates.
The Company
Clear structure in the insight, we received a timetable of everything which was happening during the week.
We had a workshop on understanding different personality types and how best to communicate with people.
Barclays were very upfront and honest about life in the firm, we had frequent exposure to analysts and associates who were all very truthful.
Everyone shares the values which Barclays have in a natural and organic way.
Barclays gave in depth analysis into all the areas of the front office, we went to trading floors to see how everything operated and it very much helped me understand where I wanted to go.
Everything Else
Networking opportunities were built into a lot of the activities we had such as banking overviews, valuation tasks etc.
I spoke to a lot of analysts who often played sports outside of the office towards the end of the week.
Definitely, the spring week was informative, challenging and yet fun at the same time, everyone made you feel welcome.
