Insight day Review

It was a great event which was very well organised, with a wide variety of speakers giving valuable information on their jobs and the asset management industry. Their responses to questions asked was really informing and showed opportunities available which I hadn't previously thought about which are available. Overall, a very good event

The staff who spoke to us during the speed networking were very friendly and polite. They were also willing to answer any questions we had regarding the roles and responsibilities at the firm. The day itself was well organised with a good number of different activities such as a trading game, advice for the application process and how to improve video interviews.

I gained some great info from the staff I spoke to, recommending me to do into the asset management industry and providing advice on how best to apply and make use of any relevant experience that I have gained. The recruitment team also gave insight into applying for various roles.

The event cemented my decision to look at the asset management industry as a future career option. It allowed me to communicate and learn from industry leading professionals, improving my networking skills which will no doubt help me in thw future. I hope I can further develop these skills and network with more people.

Very well structured with a wide variety of speakers and activities included. This provided a well rounded and wide perspective of the roles avaliable at M&G. However, I feel there a little too much emphasise on the marketing aspect of the business rather than the asset management/fund management side of the business.

Nice atmosphere meeting like minded individuals who are looking to also have a career in the asset management industry. The staff were polite and willing to speak to us which was very beneficial and kind of them And answer any questions which we had regarding their jobs. A nice and welcoming atmosphere.

Very insightful on benefits of working at M&G with particular emphasis on work life balance and having hobbies outside of work. The working atmosphere was described as very welcoming and somewhere which sounded like a great place to work at. Current graduates backed up the information on work life balance given by colleagues.

Helped me to see why asset management is a very viable choice for me as a future career option. Showed my interests in investments and the analysis side of the business as an ideal choice with my current and developing skills, which seem to be well suited to the industry.

Speed networking provided a chance to speak to industry leading professionals and gain an I sight into how their roles helped the company run. Excellent information given and a chance to question them on all most anything was a great chance to learn more about the ins and outs of the business.

Very good insight day especially for those interested in asset management. Lots of valuable information was avaliable with special emphasis on how to apply and stand out from the crowd in video interviews and the dos and don'ts for this. Overall, an excellent day with lots of great information avaliable.
