    About You

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?
  • Enjoyable and kept to a professional level. It was insightful and was a great step into the EY culture.

    4/5

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued during your time at the company or firm?
  • I was definitely valued especially at the social where the entire ITRA team took me on their team and had the opportunity to network with industry professionals.

    5/5

  • 3. How much guidance/support did you receive during the insight?
  • I’ve learnt a lot in technology - although coming from a STEM background, I’m not always exposed to the latest trends and the program really did explain the jargons that is constantly used in the market.

    5/5

  • 4. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and information you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • It will be extremely use especially when speaking to a range of people. The insight obtained allows interesting conversation starters and insights that is second to none. The program shows so many things spoken in industry but not necessarily have had the hands on opportunity.

    5/5

    The Company

  • 5. How well structured was the insight?
  • The agenda was clear and boundaries were set. However, mini golf might not be the best place to network as the environment wasn’t conducive. But the team system did allow for good interaction with the industry teams.

    4/5

  • 6. How was the general atmosphere during your insight?
  • Very professional. It gave a lot of insight to what the working world would be. The professionals who attended the event were extremely friendly and everyone was just willing to talk.

    5/5

  • 7. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • Nothing at the moment. But the offer was given for transport and logistics. However, the graduate team was very supportive upon asking for society sponsorships at university.

    4/5

  • 8. To what extent did the insight help you to understand what it would be like to have a full time role with the company or firm?
  • It helped with the roles available at EY. I’ve been able to understand the different service lines present and better understand what it takes to be a professional services organisation.

    5/5

  • 9. How much did the insight help you in understanding the company culture?
  • Everyone talks about the company culture. Especially on the panel. I believe to which was why most of the employees want to be at EY. From the consultants and professionals I can clearly see it’s an inclusive culture and is very inviting.

    5/5

  • 10. How valuable was the content in helping you to decide on your future career path?
  • Relevant but would be great to expose to the other sides of the businesses. There are a few questions that I have in the strategic consulting line and the M&A/Corporate Finance/Valuations that I couldn’t really get by.

    3/5

    Everything Else

  • 11. Were you paid or reimbursed adequately for this experience?
  • Asked about the reimbursement for tube rides within london but did not get a reply. Could be to the drowning of emails received.

  • 12. Were there opportunities for networking and meeting other employees of the company or firm?
  • Every table/group was always assigned a professional. It allowed interaction with people from different service lines.

    5/5

  • 13. How were the networking/ social event opportunities?
  • Like previously mentioned, mini golf wasn’t a conducive place to network. The opportunities however were second to none. There were so many consultants and professionals who attended.

    4/5

  • 14. Did you find out about activities that employees can get involved in outside of work?
  • Yes. I managed to ask the day to day work of the people working at the firm. I’ve also got insight to how the seats were ‘hot’ which really brought the idea of collaboration and bringing something different everyday.

    5/5

  • 15. Would you recommend this insight to a friend?
  • Yes. But i understand it is slightly competitive so I would really recommend doing prior research in application.
