About You
Very much did. It was a great experience learning from the industry professionals with regards to technology, and specifically, digital disruption happening in the 21st century. Artificial intelligence, block chain technology and even smart contracts are among the most heated topics right now and receiving technical insights from the programme is fantastic. The hackathon event is nevertheless engaging and intuitive, exploring how one team can work together to solve some of the biggest problems occurring in the world.
I sincerely think that the friendly and engaging vibe created within EY gives me a very good impression and feeling valued. During the two days, we were treated like guests with lots of Tea breaks and fabulous lunches and networking sessions - can’t really expect anymore! Perhaps the length of the programme peen day can be shortened in favor of a 3-day programme in the future as it might Have been a little tiring at times.
Amazing guidance particularly with regards to the summer programme and the EY Hackathon. Clear outline to the summer internship programme is being provided and the mentioning of the S T A R Methodology is really useful in my opinion. For the hackathon a graduate is working alongside us and taught us a lot of useful techniques for presentation and analysis.
Although the technical side of things may be a bit further from my current degree, the soft skills I have successfully acquired is nonetheless very relevant. Several points I have picked up upon such as punctuality and time managements skills definitely ring a bell for me and I hope I will utilize such skill sets in my degree studies.
The Company
Very well planned out and structure I have to say -10/10 to the organizers for the programme. You get to learn about different service lines and get involved in problem solving practices through the EY hackathon - I havent yet comeback across anything similar to that before with other firms before.
Very nice and friendly atmosphere all around even though it can be quite quiet at the start as anxiety have stepped in on the first day. After that the whole group gets a lot not even engaging and I have met some really interesting people around. The dinner social at the junkyard golf is definitely a highlight as well!
EY has rented an entire event venue just for Thisbe two day programme and I have to say that’s i am really impressed with the amount of resources being invested into us. Listening to the speech from the chief innovation officer further highlights my point and I would say 8/10 is definitely a good judgement.
Listening to the speech from the chief innovation officer about himself and what’s he does on a daily basis definitely inspire me to progress to a job under such service provision - highlighting the soft skill set required make me understand what I need to improve and what isn’t required if I were to become a full time analyst.
People. People. People. Consistent focus and stress towards people in EY that’s attracting all the employees working for EY and I am really impressed with it. This is definitely something I enjoy - working with inspirational people around in the workforce and collaborate as team under the sameness E Y umbrella.
Still uncertain about future career paths. Even though the program isn’t insightful towards tech, it doesn’t explore different side of tech and only focus on current trends- will Be good if they’ve spoken about the traditional and unchanged service lines as well for us to grasp a better understanding towards the company.
Everything Else
I Am situated in London and the programme I applied is in London as well. The venue is relatively close and I believe that E Y will reimburse delegates applied from outside London for train and plane tickets for their travel options - very nice thing for E Y to do.
Listening to the speech from the chief innovation officer about himself and what’s he does on a daily basis and husband team membership - E Y X - definitely provide a broader understanding for me. I got the chance to catch up with one of the employees during the dinner social and it was good fun.
Good but could be improve further with more opportunities.
Definitely - the year mentioned about different societies and clubs within E Y.
100% certain will recommend this E Y D E Y Digital Disruption Programme to my friends and juniors that are interested towards a job in tech or blockchain or even A I related fields. This is a good programme and very insightful for all - should grasp this opportunity when u come across.
