  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?
  • It was an invaluable experience. I didn’t realise how prevalent tech was until this opprortunity.

  • Treat with professionalism and great hospitality, everyone very warm. And even senior SY staff were very friendly and informative.

  • A lot. In fact we had an EY employee on each table speaking to us through the various stages of the experience.

  • 4. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and information you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • I don’t think it’ll be a huge help in my Economics degree since this topic is very different. But I do think it’ll help me professionally in terms of finding employment and becoming more employable and standing out

    The Company

  • 5. How well structured was the insight?
  • Everything was planned to the minute and very impressively done. Structured well so we were able to gather an insight on every different service line

  • 6. How was the general atmosphere during your insight?
  • Very warm. All the other attendants were lovely and the collaboration was brilliant.

  • 7. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • A lot. The mead were brilliant. They also arranged travel and accommodation in a nice hotel near tower bridge.

  • 8. To what extent did the insight help you to understand what it would be like to have a full time role with the company or firm?
  • It really gave a very good idea. We had a panel of EY employees answering all of our questions.

  • 9. How much did the insight help you in understanding the company culture?
  • The programme was structured so we had to speak to the staff. The staff were brilliant brand ambassadors and I just know EY is a welcoming company

  • I was interested in tech even before. This simply consolidated that

  • 12. Were there opportunities for networking and meeting other employees of the company or firm?
  • Networking was mediocre. We were in a mini golf bar with music that was quite loud and just not the classic networking environment
