The Role
Really interesting, loads of insightful, new information learned everyday!
Treated with respect and my contributions were definitely valued. At the end of the day, the work they're giving you is of a good standard, so they clearly value your inputs!
Never be afraid to ask questions if you're stuck. They encourage it!
Some times were slow, but that can only be expected during the summer months in a place like Deloitte.
Given quite a lot of responsibility on different tasks. Asked to perform tasks for roles of a graduate, so thrown in at the deep end!
The confidence to build relationships with people. My presentation skills have also come on tremendously; priceless experience.
The Company
Everybody got on really well in my offce.
Very well organised, lots of effort had been put into it and you could tell that this wasn't the first time that they'd done a scheme like this!
They're really interested in giving you the best possible experience. The firm spent a lot of money per candidate giving them the best representations of what day to day life would be like. After all, it's in their interest that you do well and that they secure you on their graduate scheme.
Subsidised Canteen
Company Parties/Events
Got a job with them, looks pretty good!
The Culture
I was living quite far away from where my office was, so it was difficult for me to participate in all the social events that were on offer. However, had I been living in the centre, i've no doubt it would have been amazing.
Not much to say here.
Birmingham has really good night life. It's full of students after alL!
Really good, lots of different sports to get involved with.
