About You
I thoroughly enjoyed EY’s DEY-Digital Disruption programme 2018. It was an excellent event. Very insightful and I learnt a lot about how technology is impacting the various lines of service af EY. The hackathon challenges was also very exciting and rewarding and it challenged me to come up with an innovative solution in under 3 hours.
The employees, managers and HR representatives were very friendly and approachable. Through their actions and words, I was able to get a better understanding of EY’s company culture and their people centric environment. There were a lot of employees from the EYX division and it was really exciting to see EY recruiting diverse and talented people all over the world.
We had an advisor during our hackathon and he was able to motivate us to come up with a viable business solution and innovative product under 3 hours. I was also able to receive feedback and guidance on pitching and presentations skills which I found very valuable during the pitching session to the CIO of EY at the end of the hackathon.
This insight programme showed me that ultimately it does not really matter what degree you study in. Rather, it is about showing passion and interest in a certain field (technology for example) that will really push you and make you stand out as a candidate and as a person at EY.
The Company
Very well structured. There was good balance between group activities and panel discussions which allowed me to stay focus and engaged throughout the course of the programme over 2 days.
Exciting, refreshing, and inspiring.
They invest in personal training immensely.
It gave me a very good overview and understanding of the different lines of service at EY. Without attending the programme, I probably would not have been able to learn so much about the company.
I was able to experience the incredible team and people culture at EY.
It helped me a lot in deciding what line of service I would be able to enjoying working in, in the future.
Everything Else
I did not require any reimbursements.
The employees were very approachable and friendly and took the time to converse with us and answer our questions.
Interesting and fun.
I learned that there were various societies, competitions and volunteering opportunities outside of work at EY.
Absolutely.
